Kinoonude filmiring on noortele vanuses 16-26, kes tahavad ise filme või videoid teha.

Teeme läbi kõik filmitegemise etapid ja saame teada
- kuidas kaamerast maksimum välja pigistada
- kuidas filmida intervjuud
- milliseid efekte arvutis lisada
- miks on filmidel nii pikad lõpukirjad
ja paljut muud läbi harjutuste ja mängude. Edasijõudnutele - kuiv teooria!

Juhendab kino-onu Urmas Reisberg (teinud filme „Tudengimuusikal“, „Vanameeste näppaja“ jpt).

Filmiring toimub esmaspäeviti kell 18-20 Anne noortekeskuse multimeedialaboris (Uus 56, B uks, teine korrus). Esimene kohtumine 6. veebruaril.

Koolinoorte ja tudengite lühifilmifestival Tähevärav

Tähevärav on Pirita Vaba Aja Keskuse poolt korraldatav lühifilmifestival, kuhu on oodatud võistlema kõik 12–26aastased filmi- ja meediahuvilised koolinoored ja tudengid üle Eesti.

Tähevärav on avatud omaloomingule, kus žanri osas piiranguid ei ole: sobivad nii dokumentaal-, draama-, komöödia,- tragöödia,- ulme-, anima- kui ka õudusfilmid.

Filmi pikkus võib olla kuni 10 minutit.
Filmide esitamise tähtaeg on 6. veebruar.

Võisteldakse kahes vanusekategoorias: 12–18aastased ja 19–26aastased.

Žürii selgitab välja võitjad 17. veebruaril.

Sel kuupäeval saavad kõik huvilised konkursil osalevaid filme vaadata otseülekandena internetist! Filmid jäävad veebi järelvaatamiseks peale seda veel kaheks nädalaks.

Lühifilmifestivali Tähevärav on korradatud juba 2005. aastast. Üritus on noorte filmihuviliste seas populaarne olnud ning läbi aegade on esitatud palju väga häid ja omanäolisi filme. Täheväraval osalemine annab noortele tegijatele võimaluse oma loomingut laiemale publikule näidata, samuti saada tagasisidet oma loomingu kohta. 2010. aastal sai vanemas vanuserühmas esikoha Siiri Talvistu film „Ootamine“, noorte vanuserühma võitis Janar Aronija film „Untitled project #5“. Lisaks jagati mitmeid eripreemiaid. Tähevärava auhinnafond on rikkalik – meid toetavad kirjastused Varrak, Kunst ja Petrone Print, kino Artis, Kuulsaal, Eesti Kunstimuuseum, Theatrum, Forum Cinemas, Jazzkaar, Kehrwieder ja Selver.

"Languages through Lenses" 2012

Call for Proposals for the production of new videos (minimum 60 - maximum 90 seconds) promoting language learning.

What kind of proposals are we looking for?
EU language policies aim to protect linguistic diversity and promote knowledge of languages – for reasons of cultural identity and social integration, but also because multilingual citizens are better placed to take advantage of the educational, professional and economic opportunities created by an integrated Europe. http://ec.europa.eu/languages
Through this competition, supported by the European Commission, we invite students to highlight the advantages of learning and speaking foreign languages and to illustrate the enriching experience of intercultural exchanges.
We are looking for proposals for new video productions that are innovative, witty, creative, unexpected and motivating.
Proposals should explore the potential of understanding different languages and cultures and the challenges it creates.
The proposals should deliver a clear message, be self-explanatory and easily understandable to a broad public with different backgrounds and mother tongues.

Who can apply?
Applications will be accepted from students at ELIA and CILECT member institutions in the 27 European Union Member States and in Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Turkey.
An international jury will evaluate and select a maximum of 15 proposals.

TUTVUSTUS

Johannes Pääsuke sündis 30. märtsil 1892 Tartus, Eestile andis ta esimese dokumentaalfilmi „Utotškini lendamine Tartus 14. aprillil ja 15. aprillil 1912“ (ei ole säilinud) ja esimese mängufilmi „Karujaht Pärnumaal“ (1914), lisaks Eesti elu dokumenteerivad filmilõigud ja unikaalse fotopärandi, mis on säilinud ERMi arhiivis.

Paljudes kohtades käis Pääsuke kahe kaameraga: fotoaparaadi (13 x 18 cm) ja kinokaameraga, pildistades ja filmides samaaegselt samas kohas. Sellest koostööst on ERMi kogus üle tuhande foto Setomaalt, Tartust, Narvast piki põhjarannikut Haapsaluni, saartelt Kuivastust Sõrve sääreni.

Viimaseks Pääsukese suuremaks tööks ERMi päevapiltnikuna jäi Tartu linna pildistamine 20. aprillist 18. juulini 1914. Need 446 fotot annavad üsna põhjaliku ülevaate linna vanematest ehitistest, eriti kesklinna, Karlova, Tähtvere ja Supilinna majadest. On pildistatud tänavate üldvaateid, elumaju, ühiskondlikke hooneid, põnevaid agulihoove ja kõrvalhooneid, aga ka ehitiste detaile (uksed, lukud), interjööre (sh trepid, ahjud) ja inimtüüpe. Neist fotodest on koostatud Vana-Tartu näitus „Johannes Pääsuke 120. Eesti film 100“, mida saab Tartu maavalitsuses vaadata Tartu muuseumikuu lõpuni, 31. maini 2012. Käesolev näitus pakub valikut Tartu linna hoonetest ja elust tehtud ülesvõtetest.

Eesti Rahva Muuseumi näitusemajas on väljas noppeid näitustelt „Mees kahe kaameraga“ ja „Meediate piirilt“. Osad näitusefotod rändavad kevadel edasi Tartu linnaruumi ja Maailmafilmi ajaks Tartu kinodesse.

Meieni jõudnud foto – hetkejäädvustus ja film – sündmuste dünaamiline jäädvustus on aluseks Peeter Linnapi autorifilmile „Elukunstnik“, mis annab ülevaate filmi- ja fotokunsti rajaja nägemusest ja dokumenteerimise stiilist. Maido Selgmäe film „Personaalnäitus“ jutustab loo kaasaja fotorännakutest arhiivist näitusesaali. Mõlemat filmi saab 6. jaanuaril kogu päev näha Tartus ERMi näitusemajas J. Kuperjanovi 9.

Envirofilm filmi festival 21.-26. mai 2012

filmide esitamise tähtaeg: 10. veebruar 2012

Film submitted for the Festival should focus on nature and environmental protection, sustainable development, environmental friendly technologies and healthy lifestyle.

The 18th International Festival ENVIROFILM will be held on 21 – 26 May 2012 in Banská Bystrica, Banská Štiavnica, Kremnica, Krupina, Skalica, Poltár, Dolný Kubín and Zvolen.

Slovak and English are official Festival languages.

Only films and videos produced after the 1st January 2009 will be accepted for the international contest.

The optimum length of films and video programmes is 1 hour and less.

Films and videocassettes must be delivered to the address shown on the entry form before 10 February 2012. Mail and insurance charges are to be covered by the sender, costs connected with the return of cassettes by the Festival organisers.

Films, TV and video programmes shall be classified in following categories:
A Journalistic programmes and films
B Documentaries
C Educational and instructive video programmes and films
D Free production and films for children and youth (advertisement spots, animations, puppet films, features, video clips, etc.)

The International Jury will decide on following awards:
a) GRAND PRIX of ENVIROFILM endowed with 3 500 EUR
b) The prize in each category
c) The prize for the best film by a Slovak director endowed with 2 000 EUR
d) The Jury may recommend the awarding of additional prizes

The prize for the best amateur film
Prizes for the best camera, production, script, sound track
Prizes of cooperating organisations and partners
The prize of viewers
The prize awarded by the children jury
A non-statutory prize will be awarded during the Awarding Ceremony. This is the Prize of the Union of Slovak Television Programme Makers and the Literature Fund for a young filmmaker. This prize is governed by its own rules.

Zebra Poetry Film Festival

Call for Entries for the 6th ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival - with new categories!

For the sixth time, the ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival is calling for entries to find the best poetry film . Entries may be short films made on the basis of poems. Prizes will be awarded in the Competition to a total value of EUR 10,000. A Programme Commission will nominate the films for the competition and select the films for the various programme categories from among the entries, and a Jury with an international line-up will name the winners.

The prizes to be awarded will be the ZEBRA Prize for the Best Poetry Film, donated by the Literaturwerkstatt Berlin, the Goethe Film Prize, donated by the Goethe Institute, the Ritter Sport Film Prize, donated by Alfred Ritter GmbH & Co KG and the Audience Prize awarded by the jury of radioeins listeners.

Children and young people will be able to award their very own prize: the ZEBRINO Prize for the Best Film for Children and Young People will be awarded by a jury of children to honour the best poetry film for eight-to-twelve-year-olds.

The Competition has a few new features this time as well. For the first time, the ZEBRA Film Festival will also be awarding prizes for poetry films in the categories Best Debut Film, Best Film for Tolerance and Best Poetry Performance on Film .

One poem, various points of view:
The festival is presenting a new departure : for the first time, the festival will be inviting film makers each to make a film based on the same poem and to submit various different interpretations of the poem (my home) by Ulrike Almut Sandig. The directors of the three best film versions will be invited to Berlin to present their films to the public and discuss them with the poet. The poem can be found with a sound recording and translations at www.zebra-award.org.

The 6th ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival will take place in the Babylon cinema in Berlin from 18 to 21 October 2012. It is a project of the Literaturwerkstatt Berlin in cooperation with interfilm Berlin and with the kind support of the Hauptstadtkulturfonds, the German Literature Fund, the Goethe Institute and Alfred Ritter GmbH & Co KG. It takes place as part of the poesiefestival berlin.

The ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival has become established as an international forum for short films that engage with poems in their content, form or aesthetics. It offers film makers from around the world the opportunity to exchange ideas and consolidate a basis for future work. It takes place every two years.

Das ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival schreibt zum 6. Mal den Wettbewerb um den besten Poesiefilm aus. Eingereicht werden können Kurzfilme, die auf der Basis von Gedichten entstanden sind. Der Wettbewerb ist mit insgesamt 10.000 EUR dotiert. Aus den Einsendungen nominiert eine Programmkommission die Filme für den Wettbewerb und wählt die Programmbeiträge, eine international besetzte Jury kürt die Gewinner.
