Liebe Freundinnen und Freunde des ZEBRA Poetry Film Festivals,
ZEBRA geht in die nächste Runde! Das ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival Münster|Berlin 2018 schreibt den Wettbewerb um die besten Poesiefilme aus! Eingereicht werden können Kurzfilme bis zu 15 Minuten, die auf Gedichten basieren. Der Wettbewerb ist mit insgesamt € 12.000 dotiert.
Außerdem lädt das Festival ein, das diesjährige Festivalgedicht "Unendlicher Spannteppich (des VIP-Empfangsraums)" von Ann Cotten zu verfilmen. Die Regisseurinnen und Regisseure der drei besten Verfilmungen werden nach Münster eingeladen, treffen die Dichterin und bekommen die Möglichkeit, ihre Filme vorzustellen und zu diskutieren. Das Gedicht kann für diese Ausschreibung verwendet werden. Für die weitere Verwendung bei anderen Festivals, Plattformen etc. müssen die Filmemacher/innen die Rechte mit der Rechteinhaberin klären. Dear Friends of the ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival,
ZEBRA is going to the next round! The ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival Münster|Berlin 2018 is inviting entries for the competition for the best poetry film. Eligible for submission are short films with a maximum length of 15 minutes based on poems. The prizes are endowed together with € 12.000.
The Festival is also inviting entries of films based on this year's Festival poem, "Endless wall-to-wall carpet (of the VIP foyer)" by Ann Cotten. The directors of the three best films will be invited to Münster to meet the poet and have the opportunity to present and discuss their films. The closing date for entries for all competitions is the 1st May 2018 (date as postmark). All film submitted are automatically considered for all selection processes. ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival: Weltweit größtes Festival für Poesiefilme zieht von Berlin nach Münster. Zum ersten Mal richtet die Filmwerkstatt Münster in Kooperation mit der Literaturwerkstatt Berlin/Haus für Poesie das ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival Münster|Berlin aus. ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival: The biggest international festival for poetry films is moving from Berlin to Münster. For the very first time the Filmwerkstatt Münster, in cooperation with Literaturwerkstatt Berlin/Haus für Poesie, will host the ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival Münster|Berlin. The prizes are endowed together with 12.000 €. Eligible for submission are poetry films with a maximum length of 15 minutes that were finished after 1st of January 2013. From among the films submitted, a programme commission consisting of film and poetry experts is going to nominate the films for the festival and the competition. An international jury will choose the winning films, which will be shown from the 27th to the 30th of October 2016 at Schloßtheater (Münster, Westphalia) and afterwards at Literaturwerkstatt Berlin/Haus für Poesie.
The prizes that will be awarded are:
• ZEBRA Prize for the Best Poetry Film, donated by the Literaturwerkstatt Berlin
• the Goethe Film Prize, donated by the Goethe Institut
• the prize for the Best Film for Tolerance, donated by the German Foreign Office
• ZEBRINO - the prize for the Best Film for Children and Young People
• the Audience Prize

The focus of this year's ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival Münster|Berlin is the Netherlands and Flanders (Belgium). Therefore, the festival is part of the official accompanying programme of the upcoming Frankfurt Book Fair, which focuses on the Dutch language. North Rhine-Westphalia, as the new festival location, is also going to play an important role.
The ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival Münster|Berlin is a project of the Filmwerkstatt Münster, in cooperation with Literaturwerkstatt Berlin/Haus für Poesie. Carbon Culture Poetry Film Prize
We want to integrate film and literary culture. Carbon Culture will award a $1,000 prize for the best poetry film. Zata Kitowski, director of PoetryFilm, will pick the grand prize winner and finalists. The winning entry will receive $1,000. The top five entries will receive high-profile placements across a number of networks, note in a one page ad alongside honorable mentions in our newsstand print and device editions. All entries are considered for sponsored entry to our list of film festivals and poetry film festivals. Deadline for submissions is January 1, 2016.
Rules for Submission
Create a video adaptation of any CCR poem or your original poem.
Post the video to a Youtube or Vimeo account and make it live.
Submit the piece as an Mp4 alongside your bio or team member’s bios to us.

5th CYCLOP International Videopoetry Contest
The 5th CYCLOP International Videopoetry Festival will take place on November, 20th and 22th, 2015 in Ukraine (Kyiv). The festival programme features video poetry-related lectures, workshops, round tables, discussions, presentations of international contests and festivals, as well as a demonstration of the best examples of Ukrainian and world videopoetry, a competitive program, an awards ceremony and other related projects.
One of the projects is a new Contest for International Poetry films within the framework of CYCLOP festival. The list of international jury: Alastair Cook (Filmpoem Festival, Edinburgh, Scotland), Zata Banks (PoetryFilm, London, United Kingdom), Javier Robledo (VideoBardo, Buenos Aires, Argentina), John Bennet (videopoet, USA), Alice Lyons (Videopoet, Sligo, Ireland), Sigrun Hoellrigl (Art Visuals & Poetry, Vienna, Austria), Lucy English (Liberated Words, Bristol, United Kingdom), Polina Horodyska (CYCLOP Videopoetry Festival, Kyiv, Ukraine) and Thomas Zandegiacomo (ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival, Berlin, Germany).
Rules and regulations:
Films of up to 10 minutes duration that are no more than two years old (January 2013) may be entered.
There are no limitation about subject and language restrictions. All films that are not in English must have English subtitles.
Video can be performed in any techniques using any necessary equipment (video, animation, flash etc).
By sending your film, you confirm that the film may be shown at the CYCLOP Videopoetry Festival. The artist must have all property and screening rights.
Each artist can send more than one work.
All videos must be sent with the following characteristics:
File format: .MOV or .AVI.
Standard: PAL. Codec: H264.
Resolution: HD — 1920 x 1080 or 1280 x 720 (16:9) / SD — 640 x 480 (4:3) or 640 x 360 (16:9)
The closing date for entries is 30 September 2015.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
The Sadho Poetry Film Fest, the first of its kind in Asia, is a unique biennial festival that showcases the finest Poetry & Poetic Films from all over the world.
The Sadho Poetry Film Fest, the first of its kind in Asia, is a unique biennial festival that showcases the finest Poetry & Poetic Films from all over the world.
The festival has two avatars. The two-day main event is organized at New Delhi every alternate year, in which all the films are screened and the viewers vote for the 'Viewers' Choice Award'. The next year, the festival travels to various cities with abridged screenings, also targeting destinations that are normally left out of the film-festival circuits.
The festival has a special section for poetry films made by students independently or as a part of their film-school curricula.
Sadho also has material exchange partnerships with other important organizations and festivals that focus on this genre of films in other parts of the world, and is always looking for new collaborations.
The screening of the travel festival will begin soon.

For the 7th time, the ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival is inviting entries for the competition to find the best poetry films. To qualify for entry, films should be short films based on poems. The total value of the prizes in the competition is € 13,000. From among the films submitted, a Programme Committee will nominate the films to be entered for the Competition and select the films for the various sections of the festival programme. The winners will be chose by an international jury.
The prizes that will be awarded are:
– ZEBRA Prize for the Best Poetry Film, donated by the Literaturwerkstatt Berlin

Call for Entries for the 6th ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival - with new categories!
For the sixth time, the ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival is calling for entries to find the best poetry film . Entries may be short films made on the basis of poems. Prizes will be awarded in the Competition to a total value of EUR 10,000. A Programme Commission will nominate the films for the competition and select the films for the various programme categories from among the entries, and a Jury with an international line-up will name the winners.
The prizes to be awarded will be the ZEBRA Prize for the Best Poetry Film, donated by the Literaturwerkstatt Berlin, the Goethe Film Prize, donated by the Goethe Institute, the Ritter Sport Film Prize, donated by Alfred Ritter GmbH & Co KG and the Audience Prize awarded by the jury of radioeins listeners.
Children and young people will be able to award their very own prize: the ZEBRINO Prize for the Best Film for Children and Young People will be awarded by a jury of children to honour the best poetry film for eight-to-twelve-year-olds.

Eingereicht werden können *Kurzfilme, *die* auf der Basis eines oder mehrerer Gedichte entstanden* sind. Eine Programmkommission entscheidet, welche der Filme im Rahmen des *ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival vom 14.–17. Oktober 2010* in Berlin im Kino Babylon im Wettbewerb laufen oder im Programm gezeigt werden. Eine international besetzte Jury ermittelt die Gewinner. Es werden die *Preise* „ZEBRA-Preis für den besten Poesiefilm“, „Filmpoesie-Preis des Goethe-Instituts“ und „Ritter-Sport-Preis, gestiftet von der Alfred Ritter GmbH & Co KG“ im *Wert von insgesamt € 10 000 vergeben.

Das ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival hat sich als internationales Forum für Kurzfilme etabliert, die sich inhaltlich, ästhetisch oder formal mit Gedichten auseinandersetzen. Es bietet Filmemachern und Dichtern aus aller Welt Gelegenheit zum Ideenaustausch und zur Standortbestimmung.
Das ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival ist ein Projekt der Literaturwerkstatt Berlin in Kooperation mit interfilm Berlin sowie mit der freundlichen Unterstützung durch den Hauptstadtkulturfonds, das Goethe-Institut, die Alfred Ritter GmbH & Co KG und die Deutsche Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit (GTZ) GmbH. Es findet statt im Rahmen des poesiefestival berlin.

fotokonkurss Tallinnast, luuletusega
Tallinna Keskraamatukogu ja Eesti Kirjanduse Seltsi Tallinna osakond kuulutavad välja suvise kirjandusliku fotokonkursi "Läheme ja kõigutame Tallinna kohal jalgu", mis kestab 31. augustini.
Suvi on aeg, kus värske õhk ja päiksekiired muudavad meeled teravaks ning inimesed märkavad ja hindavad rohkem neid ümbritsevat keskkonda. Linnades on maastikke, mis peidavad endas tuhandeid võimalusi. Ootame kõigilt huvilistelt terava silma poolt jäädvustatud Eesti linnadžunglist inspireeritud kaadreid, mille juurde oleks lisatud temaatiliselt sobiv luuletus. Pildile võib lisada nii enda kui ka tuntud ja tundmatute eesti luuletajate loomingut.
Osalemise tingimused:
Sobiv foto on jpg-formaadis ning mõõtmetega vähemalt 2500x3500 pikslit. Fotod ja luuletused koos oma nime ja kontaktandmetega (telefon, e-post) palume saata 31. augustiks aadressil janela.tahepold@tln.lib.ee. Luuletuse juurde palume kindlasti märkida ka autori nimi. Ilmekamatest töödest koostatakse rändnäitus, mis esmalt avatakse fotokonkursi lõpetamisel Tallinna Keskraamatukogu trepigaleriis.
17. septembril kell 18.00 toimub fotokonkursi lõpetamine ja näituse avamine
Tallinna Keskraamatukogus (Estonia pst 8). Üles astuvad nii sõnas kui muusikas Jaan Pehk, Jürgen Rooste, Paavo Piik, Marje Ingel jt.

konkurss Poetry in Film
The Poetry Foundation and Facets Multi-Media are proud to announce the second annual $10,000 Poetry Foundation Prize, to be awarded in October 2009 at the 26th Annual Chicago International Children's Film Festival (October 22-November 1).
The Poetry Prize recognizes excellence in the arts of poetry and film through the presentation of a cash award for the best film based on a poem. The Prize will be awarded to a filmmaker whose use of verse in film opens new artistic vistas and inspires children to a deeper appreciation of poetry. This unique competition was created to encourage filmmakers around the world to incorporate poetry into their films in new and compelling ways.
Both animated and live action films will be eligible to compete for the Poetry Foundation prize and a special jury will be convened during the summer of 2009 to determine the award winner. The prize will be awarded to the film that truly captures, reflects and expresses the spirit of poetry in film for young audiences. In order to compete for the Poetry Foundation prize, films submitted must be based on poems that are written by a poet other than the filmmaker.
