Send us your short features, animations, trash movies, documentaries, music videos, etc. We bring everything on screen that is freaky, crafty, slick, hard-boiled, and witty! Anything is allowed - as long as it's short and cheap!

As a short film festival for low & no budget productions, ClipAward explicitly addresses independent filmmakers who make films without big money. Therefore, the films may not be shot within the scope of media studies or exceed 500€ per minute.
The maximum length is 15 minutes. The shorts have to be subtitled in English.

For the 2013 edition of ClipAward, more than 600 short films were submitted, 115 of which were screened in 9 sections to around 500 visitors. During the 3 festival days the festival hosted ca 100 filmmakers.

The 9^th edition of the festival will take place on April 4 – 6, 2014 in the baroque Mannheim Palace, Germany.

Schickt uns Eure Kurzfilme, Trickfilme, Trashfilme, Experimentalfilme, Dokus, Animationen und Musikvideos. Wir zeigen alles was abgedreht, ausgefuchst, raffiniert, durchtrieben, gerissen und gewitzt ist! Alles ist erlaubt - solange es kurz und billig ist.

Als reines Low & No Budget Festival richtet sich ClipAward an freie Filmemacher, die in Eigenregie kurze Filme realisieren. Die Clips dürfen weder im Rahmen des Filmstudiums realisiert worden sein noch 500€ pro Spielminute überschreiten. Die Spiellänge beträgt max. 15 Minuten.

Bei der 8. Ausgabe des ClipAward erreichten uns 600 Filme aus der ganzen Welt, von denen 115 in 9 Sektionen aufgeführt wurden.  Rund 500 Besucher sahen sie; ca. 100 Filmemacher kamen persönlich, um ihre Filme vorzustellen.

Das Festival findet vom 4. – 6.  April 2014 in den Katakomben des Mannheimer Schlosses statt.

"Vanameeste näppaja" Berliinis 19. märtsil

"Vanameeste näppaja" linastub Berliinis madala-eelarveliste lühifilmide festivalil Clip Award, 19. märtsil, laupäeval kell 19.

"Vanameeste näppajat" näidatakse Balti filmide eriprogrammis. Samas programmis linastuvad näiteks veel Erik Alunurme 3 filmi - "Saved by the Balls", "Santa Flasher" ja "Killer Who Ate His Victims Flesh", samuti Ülo Pikkovi "Tuulest viidud" ja Martin Oja/Kudrun Vungi "Rain Terrain".
