GoDebut Film Festival 2016
Cinema of Baltic and Nordic countries has brought a sufficient contribution into development of cinema art.
However, it does not always receive necessary attention from an international audience. Especially this attention and support from a cinema industry is being lacked for young debuting cinema creators of that region and their works. The aim of the cinema debut festival GoDebut of Baltic and Nordic countries – to promote the activities of young and debuting cinema creators of the countries of this region, to boost their creativity, increase their prominence, and strengthen international cooperation. The festival is being organised in a Lithuanian port city Klaipėda and in one of the most beautiful resorts, included into UNESCO natural heritage object list – Neringa, on September 23-25, 2016.
- All entries must be postmarked by the deadline date. All entries must be received by 15/0716
- Acceptable formats for submission: DVD or password protected online screener.
- All films that are not in English must have English language subtitles.
- Only submissions with completed entry forms will be accepted.
- E-Mail your entry in godebut@mediaport.lt
- If you have listed a valid email address we will verify that we have received your entry.
- Exhibition prints must be sent to the GoDebut Film Festival online into info@mediaport.lt
- For Features and Documentaries please include two screener copies for judging.
- All Short Films must be no longer than 25 minutes in length.
- Releases for music and talent must be obtained by the filmmaker. GoDebut Film Festival is not liable for copyright infringement or unauthorized use.
- If your film has been selected to be screened at the festival we will request you send a press kit to include: stills, posters, postcards, a DVD of the trailer, and other publicity materials to maximize exposure for your film. These materials will not be returned.
- If your film has been selected to be screened at the festival we ask that it not be viewable in its entirety online on sites like YouTube, Vimeo, or Facebook before the festival screening. Trailers or clips from the film are acceptable.
- GoDebut Film Festival does not assume any liability for damage to films, videos, or publicity materials.
- Film must have been completed after October 1, 2014.
- Filmmakers will be notified of festival acceptance by approximately July 10, 2016.

Madalaeelarveliste mängufilmide konkurss
Eesti Filmi Instituut koostöös Kultuurkapitali, Eesti Rahvusringhäälingu, Kanal 2 ja TV3-ga kuulutavad välja madalaeelarveliste mängufilmide konkursi.
Konkursi tulemusel valitakse välja 3 tootmisesse minevat täispikka mängufilmi rahastusega 120000.- eurot filmile. Ühe filmi telelinastus toimub ERR-s, teise filmi telelinastus Kanal 2-s ning kolmanda filmi telelinastus TV3-s. Filmid linastuvad enne televisiooni ka kinodes.
Konkursi algataja Eesti Filmi Instituudi peaprodutsent Piret Tibbo-Hudgins rõhutab uuest koostööprojektist kõneledes sündmuse laiemat mõju Eesti filmitööstusele ning peab eratelekanalite positiivse panustamise põhjuseks möödunud tugevaid filmiaastaid ning vaatajate tõusnud usaldust Eesti filmi vastu. „See on esmakordne, et lisaks riiklikele filmirahastusinstitutsioonidele ja Eesti Rahvusringhäälingule osalevad ühisprojektis ka erakanalid. Loodetavasti saab sellest konkursist häid tulemusi andev, iga-aastane traditsioon, mis võimaldab kiiremini filmiareenile pääseda ka uutel talentidel,“ kommenteeris Piret Tibbo-Hudgins.
Kandideerima on oodatud nii uued ideed kui ka eelnevalt Eesti Filmi Instituudilt või Kultuurkapitalilt stsenaariumi- või arendustoetust saanud projektid. Entries are now opened for ONE Country ONE Film 2015, Sixth Edition. Films from more than 90 countries were received in 2014! Thanks to all producers, organizations and film makers for their contributions. They help making OCOF a unique festival!
THE SIXTH EDITION OF THE FESTIVAL WILL TAKE PLACE FROM THE 24TH TO THE 26TH OF JULY 2015 IN APCHAT, FRANCE
What's the Concept ? : each film selected is the sole (except for the honored country) representative for its country (country of production or in some cases country of shooting).
What films can participate ?
- All categories : Documentaries, fiction, animation, and experimental films (no music videos, commercials or corporate films)
- All genres (except pornography).
- All durations : from short films to feature lengths films.
- All shooting formats.
- All films completed 2 years or less prior to the festival.
What are the entry fees ? : application to the festival is FREE.
What's the deadline ? : films must reach the festival office no later than March 31st 2015 for ONE Country ONE Film 2015
Important :
If your film is in a language other than french anf if you already have a french subtitled version of your film send this one for the selection.
What do I have to do to enter my film and get a chance to have it represent my country at the festival ? download the entry form and the regulations in PDF format below at the very bottom of this page and follow carefuly the entry procedures that you will find on the entry form. If you have troubles downloading and typing on the PDF form, make sure your version of Adobe Reader is updated. Make sure you have downloaded the pdf file on your computer before filling it up. Do you accept online submissions ? Although we prefer submissions by regular mail, we now accept free online submissions. Deadlines are earlier than regular submissions.

- Email us 3 high quality photos from the film and 1 photo of the director(s).
We'll then give you an entry number so you can submit your film online.
Ok, is there anything else I need to know ? YES! Very important : by entering a film you agree to provide on time for the festival, free of charge, and if needed, a french subtitled version of the film. The Festival's organisation can translate free of charge your film's dialogues and texts from english or other languages to french but you'll have to do the work of puting the subtitles on the film.
The festival will not pay for screeners shipping and screening fees during the festival or at any time. Screeners will not be returned.
Is there any competition ? : The festival has no competition except for the Public Award and the Young Public Award. Being the sole representative of your country IS the competition!
When will I know if I'm selected ? Only one film will be selected per country except for the 2015 honored country which will be announced with the rest of the selection on this site in July 2015. Directors or contacts for the films selected will be reached by email. You can also join our Facebook page and group. Email spam filters are sometime too zealous so don't forget to always check your spam box in case a good news ends up there!

Indie Lisboa 2015
IndieLisboa (International Independent Film Festival, Lisbon, Portugal) aims to contribute to the discovery in Portugal of new films and new directors – within the universe of independent film – both national and international.
Article 1
IndieLisboa intends to stimulate the public exhibition of films that are neither distributed nor exhibited within Portugal’s traditional circuits. The festival gives preference to national premieres.
Article 2The 12th edition of IndieLisboa will be held from April 23rd to May 3rd, 2015.
Article 31. The following official sections accept submissions:
International Competition - The International Competition for short and feature films is composed of films that have never been publicly exhibited in Portugal and which were completed in 2014 or 2015. First, second or third works, fiction, animation, documentaries and experimental films may apply to this section. The festival is particularly keen to promote the work of new directors.
National Competition - This section aims to give national and international recognition to very recent Portuguese shorts and features.
Brand New – This competitive section is for upcoming talents from Portugal.
Emerging Cinema - This section highlights innovative works by emerging filmmakers, exploring new trends in world cinema, fresh narrative forms, and promising voices.
IndieJunior - Screenings programmed for a younger audience: shorts and feature films, comprising animations and live-action films; fictional films and documentaries that have never been publicly exhibited in Portugal.
IndieMusic – A programme comprising films – mainly documentaries – focusing on music, especially independent pop/rock and its practitioners;
Director’s Cut – A programme of recently-restored titles, rediscoveries and films which reflect on cinema itself, its artistic dimensions and history
Special Screenings - A survey of essential works in independent contemporary cinema by established filmmakers.
2. IndieLisboa has also a retrospective section titled Independent Hero, dedicated to those who go beyond the mainstream in filmmaking and help to open new and unconventional paths for cinema.
Article 4
1. To apply to IndieLisboa’s International Competition, films must fulfill all the following criteria:
- Fiction, animation, documentary or experimental Short or Feature films;
- First or second works by their director(s);
- 35mm, 16mm, DCP and video;
- Completed in either 2014 or 2015;
- First public presentation in Portugal.
2. Regarding the other sections of the festival:
- Fiction, animation, documentary and experimental Short and Feature films;
- 35mm, 16mm, DCP, video;
- Films produced preferably in 2014 and 2015;
- Portuguese premieres are preferred.
3. The Festival may, in exceptional circumstances, decide to select films that do not fulfill one or more of these criteria. Such selection is at the discretion of the festival organizers.
Article 5
All screening copies received of selected films must be English subtitled (except for English spoken films).
Article 6
1. The Jury of the International Competition of Feature Films will be composed of renowned personalities from the world of cinema, at least one of whom will be Portuguese. The Jury is responsible for allocating the following awards: Feature Film Grand Prize, Best Portuguese Feature Film and Distribution Award.
2. The Jury of the International Competition of Short Films will be composed of renowned personalities from the world of cinema, at least one of whom will be Portuguese. The Jury will be responsible for allocating the following awards: Short Film Grand Prize, Special Mentions to Animation, Documentary and Fiction.
3. The Jury of the National Competition will be composed of renowned personalities from the world of cinema. The Jury is responsible for allocating the following awards: Best Portuguese Feature Film, Best Portuguese Short Film, New Talent in Short Film and Brand New.
4. The IndieJunior Jury will be composed of five students from Portuguese schools, and will be responsible for allocating the Distribution Award to a film in the International Competition.
5. The Jury Cinema Blogs will be composed of three film critics and will be responsible for allocating the IndieJunior Award.
6. The Amnesty International Jury is composed of renowned personalities, and will be responsible for allocating the Amnesty International Award.
7. The Árvore da Vida Jury is composed of three renowned personalities, and will be responsible for allocating the Árvore da Vida Award.
8. Individuals directly connected with the production, exhibition or distribution of films presented in the various competitive sections may not sit in the respective Jury.
Article 7
1.The awards attributed by the Jury of the International Competition are as follows:
- Feature Film Grand Prize, worth 10.000€;
- Short Film Grand Prize, worth 4.000€;
- Distribution Award (subject to a separate regulation, value to be announced);
- Best Portuguese Feature Film (value to be announced);
- Best Portuguese Short Film (value to be announced);
- New Talent Prize (2.500€ in the acquisition of rights for DVD distribution);
- Brand New (2.500€ in training or equivalent).
2. The Distribution Award consists in the acquisition by the festival of the Distribution rights of a Feature Film from the International Competition (award subject to special regulations).
3. The World Pulse Award is given to a film selected from the corresponding section and is a tv acquisitions rights award worth 2.500€.
4. The IndieJunior Award is given to a film selected from the corresponding section either feature or short (value to be announced).
5. The Amnesty International Award is given by an independent jury, selected from those films in the official programme of the festival regarded as promoting the values of Amnesty International, particularly those concerning human rights. The winner receives 1.250€.
6. The Árvore da Vida Award is given by an independent jury, to a Portuguese Film (either feature or short) selected for the National Competition or World Pulse sections, which better promotes human and spiritual values. The winner receives 2.000€.
7. Three Audience Awards (which are voted for by public attending screenings in the International Competition, National Competition, Emerging Cinema and IndieJunior sections): Feature Film; Short Film and IndieJunior.

1. Submissions must be completed online via www.indielisboa.com/submissions no later than December 31st 2014.
2. If you a submit an online link as a screener (and password if needed), there will be no more steps to be done: the submission will be complete.
3. If the submission format is a DVD, a screener (labeled with the following information: work title, runtime director, and contacts) should be sent as soon as possible and necessarily before January 10th 2015 to IndieLisboa – International Independent Film Festival, Casa do Cinema, Rua da Rosa, 2º, Sala 1.4 – 1200-385 Lisboa, Portugal
4. Immediately after the communication of the selection
Dialogue List, Stills from the film and from the director, artistic and technical infos of the film (when they were not given previously), exhibition authorization;

Love has never been easy. Relationships are tricky so show us the good, the bad and the ugly and compete for awards totaling USD$100,000. For the second edition of #VOFF, we invite all films, series and project teasers longer than three minutes with the theme "Relationship Status: It's Complicated"
How It Works
We'll be putting together a new revised voting system for #VOFF 2, but essentially the Viewster community and your fans will watch, comment, share and vote for their favorite entries. They will help to curate the entries with at least the top ten moving onto the finals. After that our Jury of Experts - Ted Hope, Nora Tschirner and Timo Vuorensola - will select the winners to be announced July 7, 2014 on festival.viewster.com.

Love has never been easy. Relationships are tricky so show us the good, the bad and the ugly and compete for awards totaling USD$100,000. For the second edition of #VOFF, we invite all films, series and project teasers longer than three minutes with the theme "Relationship Status: It's Complicated"
How It Works
We'll be putting together a new revised voting system for #VOFF 2, but essentially the Viewster community and your fans will watch, comment, share and vote for their favorite entries. They will help to curate the entries with at least the top ten moving onto the finals. After that our Jury of Experts - Ted Hope, Nora Tschirner and Timo Vuorensola - will select the winners to be announced July 7, 2014 on festival.viewster.com.

Giffoni Film Festival
The Giffoni Film Festival is organised by the independent Association: “Ente Autonomo Festival Internazionale del Cinema per Ragazzi e per la Gioventù”, a non-profit Association that was constituted in 1973. It is supported by the Campania Regional Government, POR Campania, the Italian Ministry for Arts and Culture, the Salerno Provincial Administration and the Municipality of Giffoni Valle Piana. Other associations, organisations, institutions and private sponsors also support the Festival.
The 44th edition of the Giffoni Film Festival will take place under the Patronage of the Italian Head of State.
OBJECTIVES
For over 44 years the Festival has acted as a sounding board for cinema production destined for children and young people. It represents the ideal place for vivacious confrontation between filmmakers, producers and distributors and also provides a bridge between the sector’s production universe and its target audience. The Festival also aims to promote the knowledge and circulation of products of high artistic value, capable of contributing to the formation and cultural growth of a mature critical conscience in young people.
1. OFFICIAL SECTIONS
1.1 Elements +3 – competitive section for short animation movies for children from 3 to 5 years of age.
1.2 Elements +6 – competitive section for feature length films and short films (fiction and animation) for audiences from 6 to 9 years of age.
1.3 Elements +10 – competitive section for feature length films and short films (fiction and animation) for audiences from 10 to 12 years of age.
1.4 Generator +13 – competitive section for feature length films (fiction and animation) for audiences from 13 to 15 years of age.

Short films must not run for more than 30' while feature length films must run for at least 60'.
Preferred formats are as follows: DCP, DigiBeta, HDCAM (not SR), Blu-ray.
DVD and file H264HD or Apple Pro-res format only for short films.
2. THE JURIES AND AWARDS
2.1 For the Elements competitive sections the National Jury is to be composed of children (600 circa per section) who will award the Gryphon to the best feature film and to the best short film;
2.2 For the Generator +13 and +16 competitive sections the International Jury is to be composed of teenagers from all over the world (500 circa per section) who will award the Gryphon to the best feature film and the “Jury Grand Prix”;
2.3 For the Generator +18 section the Jury is to be composed of teachers, university students and cinephiles who will award the Gryphon to the best feature film, to the best fiction and animated short film.
The Juries’ decisions are unquestionable.
3. REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
3.1 Terms and conditions for the admission to the selection. Only films produced after October 2012 will be considered for selection and priority will be given to previously unedited films. ONLY FOR FEATURE LENGTH FILMS: the film presentation at any other italian film festival or its theatrical or broadcasting on television in italy will exclude it from participating in the giffoni film festival.
The deadline of DVDs, files or links submission to be included in the pre-selection is the 6th of June 2014.
All DVDs, accompanied by a completed copy of our entry form (only if NOT already submitted online), should be sent to the following address:

Materials for inclusion in the pre-selection must be sent at the expense of the participants. The DVDs will be returned only if a specific request is made by the sender. Our Association will keep a copy of each film, which will then be kept in our Cine Library and used exclusively for cultural and educational reasons.
3.2 Selection terms. The selection will take place under the unquestionable judgment of the Festival’s Artistic Management who will communicate the results exclusively to the production and distribution companies of the films selected, no later than the 18th of June 2014.
3.3 Materials. On receiving official notification of the film’s inclusion in competition, absolute priority must be given to the dispatch of the following materials:
DVD of the entire film (if not already submitted for the pre-selection)
Biography, filmography and photograph of the Director (by e-mail)
Director’s notes on the film and production notes (by e-mail)
Complete list of dialogues in English and/or a list of subtitles (by e-mail)

Note: In order to promote the film in competition, it is essential that the production company give their authorisation for a maximum of 2’ (max. 30” for short films) of scenes taken from the film to be broadcast on National and International television.
IMPORTANT
3.4 Shipments.Any copies (both feature films and short films) for the official screening must be sent exclusively via courier service to the same address (see above) and the prints must arrive in the Festival’s office no later than the 11th July 2014.
All shipments from NON-EU MEMBER STATES must be accompanied by a pro-forma invoice indicating for customs purposes only, a value of no more than $10USD for feature films and $5USD for short films and indicate clearly in writing the following “NO COMMERCIAL VALUE, FOR CULTURAL PURPOSES ONLY”. At the same time the sender must ensure that an e-mail containing the title of the film, the number of packages, the date and coordinates of the shipment (AWB number) is received in the Office of the Festival’s Artistic Secretary.
All the films in competition will be screened in original language with the addition of electronic subtitles (with the exception of the Elements +3 and Elements +6 sections, for which a voice-over system will be adopted).
The prints must be subtitled in English if they come from non-Anglophone countries.
The official copy must be identical to the DVD copy submitted for pre-selection.
In the case of DCPs please consider the time needed to carry out tests and upload it. The copy must arrive within July 11. In the case of encrypted DCPs, a valid KDM must be sent for the following time frame: July 14 – July 27 2014.
4. COSTS AND COMMITMENTS
The GFF foresees no cost for admission to the pre-selection.
Shipment costs for films in pre-selection are to be covered by the participants.
All shipment expenses for the films selected for competition, as well as those incurred for their return to their country of origin, will be covered by the GFF. In case the copy of the films is shipped from/to another Festival, we shall cover the cost of only one track.
Travel Insurance. The expedition of the prints to and from Giffoni is to be covered by participants. The Festival takes care of insurance for the period of the goods’ stay in Giffoni. The insurance value will not be higher than the cost of re-printing a copy according to the going rate in Italy.
Producers and distributors of the winning films are kindly asked to hand a copy of the title either on 35mm or Digital format to the Festival, in order to keep it at the Festival Archive. The copy will not be used for any commercial purposes.
5. DELEGATIONS PARTICIPATION
5.1 TRAVELLING EXPENSES. The Giffoni Film Festival will cover the cost of economy class flight tickets exclusively for the Directors of the feature films in competition.
5.2 HOSPITALITY EXPENSES:
Hospitality (B/B and dinners) is foreseen for the Directors and for a representative of the production/distribution company of each feature film in all the competitive sections (the hospitality goes from the day before the screening to the day after the Award Ceremony).
Hospitality (B/B and dinners) for a maximum of 3 nights is foreseen for the Directors of the short films in all the competitive sections.
N.B. The Production and Distribution Companies of the films selected are invited to support the participation of their films at the GFF by sustaining the attendance of the leading actors from their films to whom we will be happy to offer accommodation to (B/B and dinners).
6. FINAL MEASURES
Entrance into one of the GFF’s competitive sections entails unconditional acceptance of the Festival’s regulations. It is strictly the producers, distributors or any other subjects’ responsibility to guarantee that they are authorized to submit the films at GFF.
This list of regulations has been drawn up in both the Italian and English languages. If problems of interpretation should arise the version in Italian will prevail.
The management of the GFF is allowed to take decisions that are not foreseen in the above regulations and to change the regulations in special cases.
The Court of Salerno is regarded as the competent authority for all eventual controversy.

4. Purpose
Focusing exclusively on Digital Cinema, the industry standard format of production and screening in the 21st century, the festival will hold international competition and award prizes to excellent films and filmmakers. In addition, the festival will support excellent films among submissions by giving the opportunities of screenings both locally and internationally and contribute to the development of the film industry in Japan.
5. Entry Requirements
The submissions are accepted in the following two competition sections.
1) Feature Length Competition (International)- Running time must be 70 minutes or longer.
・All submissions must be shot digitally and able to be projected in digital format. (If your film is nominated, a digital screening tape with English subtitles or original language in English will be required.)
・Directors of feature length submissions cannot have more than four feature film directing credits, including documentaries, to their name(s). (If the submitted film is a director's fifth feature, he or she is not qualified for the competition.)
・Production must be completed after January 1st, 2013.

4. Purpose
Focusing exclusively on Digital Cinema, the industry standard format of production and screening in the 21st century, the festival will hold international competition and award prizes to excellent films and filmmakers. In addition, the festival will support excellent films among submissions by giving the opportunities of screenings both locally and internationally and contribute to the development of the film industry in Japan.
5. Entry Requirements
The submissions are accepted in the following two competition sections.
1) Feature Length Competition (International)- Running time must be 70 minutes or longer.
・All submissions must be shot digitally and able to be projected in digital format. (If your film is nominated, a digital screening tape with English subtitles or original language in English will be required.)
・Directors of feature length submissions cannot have more than four feature film directing credits, including documentaries, to their name(s). (If the submitted film is a director's fifth feature, he or she is not qualified for the competition.)
・Production must be completed after January 1st, 2013.

The 29th Valencia International Film Festival Cinema Jove, which will take place in Valencia
from June 20th to 27th, 2014, aims to promote young filmmakers.
Cinema Jove is organised by CulturArts Generalitat IVAC, and is accredited by the
International Federation of Film Producers Associations (FIAPF).
1. CATEGORIES
There are two categories:
- Feature Films
- Short Films
2. PARTICIPANTS
The Festival is open to any film produced after January 1st 2013.
- Invited films:
Films invited by the Selection Committee shall send to the Festival organisation the
registration report. The reception by the Festival of the said form implies the legal
acceptance of the invitation by the interested parties and will be considered definitive and
irrevocable.
- Films for preview:
Films for preview by the Selection Committee will need to register on-line and before
February 28th, 2014.
3. TECHNICAL CONDITIONS
a) Films must not have been entered in previous editions of the Festival. Feature films must
not have had a commercial screening in Spain nor must they have been screened at any other
Spanish film festival before or during Cinema Jove (Spanish Premiere). Short films must not
have been screened in the Comunidad Valenciana (Land of Valencia) before or during Cinema
Jove.
b) More than two films by the same director cannot be presented to the Festival. In this case,
the Selection Committee shall only choose one.
c) Entries must be in the original version. They must be accompanied by a dossier containing
the original text and lines along with a translation in Spanish or English.
d) Films over 60 minutes will be considered feature-lengths. Short films will not exceed a
maximum running time of 30 minutes.
e) The selected feature films may be screened in 35mm or digital format (DCP, Blu-ray,
Betacam Digital or SP); short films may be screened in 35mm or digital format (MPG4, codec
H264).
f) Any film not presenting sufficient technical qualities for a correct public screening will be
refused.
4. DEVELOPMENT OF THE FESTIVAL
a) The Selection Committee, appointed for this purpose, will select from the entries submitted
to the Festival the films that will be shown from June 20th to 27th, 2014, during Cinema Jove.
b) Films selected will be screened a maximum of three times.
c) Once registered and selected, no film may be withdrawn from the competition.
d) Filmmakers whose films are not selected will be informed of the results of the selection
before the beginning of the Festival.
5. JURIES
a) The Director of the Festival will appoint the members of the Selection Committee, selected
among specialists linked to the Festival, as well as the members of the Juries for the two
competing categories: feature and short films.
-The Feature Category Jury will be composed of five members, representing the international
film field. A maximum of two members will be of Spanish nationality.
-The Short Category Jury will be composed of three members, representing the international
film field. A maximum of one member will be of Spanish nationality.
b) The Selection Committee and Jury decisions will be final.
6. AWARDS
6.1. Films selected for the Official Competition will be eligible for the following awards:
a) FEATURE FILMS
LUNA DE VALENCIA for the Best Feature...............30.000 Euros
The prize shall be given to the film distributor in Spain. The film must have its Spanish
premiere within a period of twelve months after the awarding of the prize. If six months
should elapse without the Festival being duly notified of an agreement between distributors,
the Festival may choose to allocate the prize money to the subsequent edition.
In order to proceed with the payment of the prize, Cinema Jove will require that the distributor
of the film present the invoices generated out of the publicity and promotion pertinent to the
commercial screening of the film in Spain, as well as a certificate of accreditation of film
rights issued by the corresponding National Film Institute. The prize money shall be paid after
January 1st
in the year following the granting of the award.
b) SHORT FILMS
LUNA DE VALENCIA for the Best Short..................8.000 Euros
Prize money will be given to the director of the awarded short film.
Juries can give any mention under their consideration.
Production and distribution companies of the prize-winners of the Luna de Valencia commit to
using the Festival’s logo for the subsequent promotion and publicity of the films.
6.2. Other awards:
PECERA ESTUDIO AWARD to the Spanish short film with the best sound track,
consisting of 2.404 Euros for the audio post production of a short film, with a maximum
running time of 30 minutes.
CANAL + AWARD to the best short film, consisting of the purchase of broadcasting rights
in Europe.
GRUPO PASARELA AUDIOVISUAL AWARD to the best director of short film produced
in Valencia, consisting of € 1.500 for the lighting and 1.500 for the post-production of the
winner’s next project strictly within a one-year period following the awarding of the prize.
Short films selected for the competition and the Valencian Panorama section are eligible for
this award.
7. REGISTRATION
a) Participants will need to register on-line by February 28th, 2014, the closing date for
registration. (On-line form is available on our official website).
b) It is unnecessary to send DVDs by post. Films should be forwarded online –with English
subtitles in the case of films in languages other than Spanish or English– to the MOVIBETA
web page following the instructions of the registration form. The price for forwarding and
storage ranges between 2€ and 4€ +VAT; the video content is private and only accessible for
Festival staff.
8. SHIPMENT OF PRINTS
a) Prints of selected films must be sent to the Festival before June 1st, 2014. Due to the
international character of Cinema Jove, the prints must include English subtitles. The
International Jury will not take into consideration any films without English subtitles. The
Festival will only provide the Spanish subtitles (electronic system).
b) The sender will inform the Festival on the means of dispatch, date of shipment and Airway
bill number.
c) Prints will be sent prepaid by sender. The Festival will only pay for the return transportation
charges, excluding any additional costs for tax and customs clearance in country of return.
d) Prints will be insured by the Festival from their arrival until their return.
e) Prints will be returned to the address indicated in the registration form after the completion of

Pitch Stop - Cinema Total
Pitch Stop, Cinema Total’s alternative pitching event, is currently accepting applications from filmmakers and producers from Central and Eastern Europe. As well as offering participants an opportunity to present their projects to an international audience of producers, distributors, film subsidy representatives and other industry professionals, Pitch Stop provides a unique forum in which the participants prepare for the event in advance through workshops and individual consultations. The workshop and consultations take place on Tuesday, 11 February and in the morning of Wednesday, 12 February, before the pitch event at 3pm on the same day.

PITCH STOP is Cinema Total’s alternative pitch event. It includes a workshop and individual
consultations, as well as a public pitch. Instead of a conventional pitch event, Cinema Total’s event
focuses on personalised guidance and professional advice offered by notable film professionals.
Last year’s consultants included: Gyula Gazdag ("lmmaker, Professor at UCLA, Director at
Sundance Filmmakers Lab), Stefan Laudyn (Director, Warsaw Film Festival), Brigitta Manthey
(Funding Advisor, Medienboard Berlin Brandenburg), Charlotte Mickie (Executive Vice
President, eOne Films International), Anthony Muir (Senior Executive International Co-
Productions, Film i Väst), Simon Perry (President Ateliers du Cinéma Européen (ACE) and Ewa
Puszczyńska (Producer/Head of Development, Opus Film).
Pitch Stop addresses directors who already have made a first feature, or an acclaimed short film, and their producers. The projects presented must be original fiction features and still at a stage in their development in which they can bene"t from advice.
Please note: only projects whose directors will be attending will be selected!

The 10th International Film Festival of First Features and Student Films will take place from August 28 to September 1, 2013 in
Prague, Czech Republic.

Film submitted for the Festival should focus on nature and environmental protection, sustainable development, environmental friendly technologies and healthy lifestyle.
The 18th International Festival ENVIROFILM will be held on 21 – 26 May 2012 in Banská Bystrica, Banská Štiavnica, Kremnica, Krupina, Skalica, Poltár, Dolný Kubín and Zvolen.
Slovak and English are official Festival languages.
Only films and videos produced after the 1st January 2009 will be accepted for the international contest.
The optimum length of films and video programmes is 1 hour and less.
Films and videocassettes must be delivered to the address shown on the entry form before 10 February 2012. Mail and insurance charges are to be covered by the sender, costs connected with the return of cassettes by the Festival organisers.
Films, TV and video programmes shall be classified in following categories:
A Journalistic programmes and films
B Documentaries
C Educational and instructive video programmes and films
D Free production and films for children and youth (advertisement spots, animations, puppet films, features, video clips, etc.)
The International Jury will decide on following awards:
a) GRAND PRIX of ENVIROFILM endowed with 3 500 EUR
b) The prize in each category
c) The prize for the best film by a Slovak director endowed with 2 000 EUR
d) The Jury may recommend the awarding of additional prizes
The prize for the best amateur film
Prizes for the best camera, production, script, sound track
Prizes of cooperating organisations and partners
The prize of viewers
The prize awarded by the children jury
A non-statutory prize will be awarded during the Awarding Ceremony. This is the Prize of the Union of Slovak Television Programme Makers and the Literature Fund for a young filmmaker. This prize is governed by its own rules.

Film submitted for the Festival should focus on nature and environmental protection, sustainable development, environmental friendly technologies and healthy lifestyle.
The 18th International Festival ENVIROFILM will be held on 21 – 26 May 2012 in Banská Bystrica, Banská Štiavnica, Kremnica, Krupina, Skalica, Poltár, Dolný Kubín and Zvolen.
Slovak and English are official Festival languages.
