Kinoonude põnevusparoodia "Juhe, kiip ja suitsev kaheraudne" esilinastub Eesti Rahva Muuseumi näitusemajas 31. augustil kell 17.
Film räägib kolme eesti mehe võitlusest elektroonika vastu, kui mehed avastavad, et elektroonika ei tee seda, milleks see on loodud. Konflikt eskaleerub kiirelt ülemaailmseks, kuni inimestel ei jää eluspüsimiseks muud võimalust, kui laadida relvad ja anda tuld kõige pihta, mis piiksub või vilgub.
Inimpeaosades Martin Kõiv (Vanemuine), Tarmo Tagamets (Võru Linnateater), Enor Niinemägi (TÜT) ja Veikko Täär.
Lavastaja Urmas Nimetu, operaator Toms Skele, produtsent Richard Meitern, animatsioonid Erik Alunurm ja Hendrik Proosa.
Filmi tegemist toetasid Veski Mati, Baltix, Olde Hansa, Rimi, Husqvarna, A Le Coq jpt.

Eesti Rahva Muuseumi näitusemaja asub Tartus raudteejaama lähedal aadressil J. Kuperjanovi 9. Muuseumis on praegu võimalik vaadata näitust tarbimiskultuurist.
Tallinnast saab Tartusse kõige mugavamalt rongiga, mis väljub Tallinnast 14:08 (Tartus 16:47), ja viib tagasi 20:13 (Tallinnas kell 22:27).

Konkurss raamatu treileritele
Tartu Linnaraamatukogu kuulutab välja konkursi
"Tee raamatust treiler ja võida tasuta kinopiletid!"
Reklaami enda filmitud treileriga ilukirjandusteost ja võida oma võttemeeskonnale kino Ekraan või Cinamon kinopiletid!
TINGIMUSED:
1. Reklaamklipp peab olema tehtud ilukirjanduslikule raamatule!
2. Raamatukogu ootab klippe eriti raamatutele: Kersti Kivirüüt “Okultismiklubi”, Margus Karu “Nullpunkt”, Reeli Reinaus “Nõidkapteni needus”, Reeli Reinaus “Must vares”, S. Meyer “Videvik”

FAKE TRAILERS FESTIVAL OFFICIAL RULES
* Your fake trailer must be entirely original and promote a non-existing movie. We will not accept an ingenious edit of an already made film. The point is to make a “fake trailer”. For alternative trailers there are other websites.
* The runtime of uploaded videos must not exceed 90 seconds
* All submitted videos must be in Spanish or English. We will admit any other language as long as the trailer is subtitled in Spanish or English, otherwise we will not be able to understand it and will not accept it into the Official Section.
* The winning trailer will be shown on a large cinema screen, so it is convenient that you keep a better quality copy of your work.
* Fake trailers in contest will be admitted from 15th September 2008 until 31st December 2008.
* The organization is committed to view all the trailers appearing on the Official Participate Section in our website before passing them on to the Festival Section, so we reserve the right to refuse admission.
* By putting up your teaser on our website, you are taking part in a festival with a 30.000 € prize. This money must be used to make a short film that you’ll have to finish and turn in before 30th September 2009.
